从企业继承与保障,财富保值,控制权与灵活管理等各个方面深入研究财富传承的秘诀

The outbreak of Covid-19, the pandemic, has highlighted the importance of succession planning as a risk management strategy and business continuity measure. In time marked by instability and uncertainty, a carefully drafted succession structure can ensure wealth preservation and mitigate unforeseen circumstances.

Nowadays, family relationships are increasingly becoming more complex, internationally mobile, and aware of wealth transitioning between generations. However, a common misconception of wealth succession planning is - that it is solely for wealth distribution, insurance investment, or discussion around death and legacy.

Besides wills and trusts, private family foundation is another structure that provides an elective option that can accommodate a family’s evolving priorities and legacy.

The Labuan Private Foundation (“LPF”) is the only private wealth foundation structure available in Asia. First Introduced in Labuan in year 2010, governed under Labuan Foundation Act 2010, Labuan Private Foundations have grown to become an integral part of Asia’s Wealth Management offering. There are now more than 340 private foundations registered in Labuan FSA.

Our experienced speaker will cover the following topics during this session:

  1. Investment Holding  - How a LPF can be a cost-effective vehicle to hold investments
  2. Protection of Privacy - The Labuan Foundation Act assures confidentiality
  3. Family Business Growth - How a single-owner business model be may transform into a structured, professionally organised entity
  4. Wealth Protection and Preservation - Assets endowed into the LPF are protected from creditors and other claims
  5. Flexibility and Control - The LPF can be structured to be 100% controlled
  6. And many more
