Joe Wan, CEO of Tricor Hong Kong, is an innovative executive with extensive experience in professional services, financial services and accounting.  

Joe leads 700+ professionals who serve over 10,000 clients including 1,500+ Listed Companies on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, offering integrated business advisory services such as corporate administration, trust and fiduciary, accounting and financial reporting.  He also drives the digital transformation strategy, and oversees the company’s ongoing expansion efforts into emerging markets such as Greater Bay Area.

Joe holds a Master’s degree in International and Public Affairs from The University of Hong Kong, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of British Columbia.  He is Chairman of Federation of Share Registrars Limited, Non-Executive Chairman of Praxonomy, Executive Director of Hong Kong New Youth Energy Think Tank, and Director of Shine Tak Foundation.  Joe also maintains active membership in The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and The Hong Kong Chi Tung Association Limited.  Joe shares his leadership insights at HKET and ThinkHK.

Dr. David Chung is the Under Secretary for Innovation and Technology.

Dr. Chung has nearly 30 years of experience in information technology (IT) strategic management and entrepreneurship development, and worked in several IT firms. He joined Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited in March 2004 and was responsible for taking forward Cyberport's IT infrastructure and incubation. He was Chief Technology Officer when he left Cyberport in February 2016. Public service positions held by Dr. Chung include Council Member of the Hong Kong Computer Society, Convenor of the IT Expert Advisory Group of the Consumer Council, and Member of the Hong Kong/Guangdong Expert Committee on Cloud Computing Services and Standards.

Professor Chan is the Chairman of WeLab Bank and Senior Advisor of WeLab, a leading fintech company in Asia with one of the first virtual banks established in Hong Kong. Professor Chan was appointed as Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region from July 2007 to June 2017. Prior to that, he was Dean of Business and Management in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). He is currently Adjunct Professor at HKUST Business School.

Professor Chan is a member of Competition Commission and Non-Executive Director of The Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited. In the past, he held a number of public service positions including Chairman of the Consumer Council, Director of the Hong Kong Futures Exchange, and Member of the Commission on Strategic Development, Commission on Poverty, the Exchange Fund Advisory Committee, the Hang Seng Index Advisory Committee, and the Hong Kong Council for Academic Accreditation.

Eva has more than 25 years’ of working experience as senior management of various listed companies in Hong Kong. She is the Founding Chairman of Hong Kong Investor Relations Association. She is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS) and The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. She is also the Chairman of the Education Committee of HKICS.

Dr. Chan is a fellow member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She is also an Honorary Adviser and a Member of the Finance and Corporate Affairs Committee of the Financial Reporting Council (FRC).

Lin is responsible for overseeing all of HKbitEX’s research and development activities, including securitised tokens and other digital asset trading products.

Prior to HKbitEX, Lin was a seasoned capital markets lawyer with regulatory experience and a strong management background. She started her career in New York at Fulbright & Jaworski (now Norton Rose Fulbright) where she worked on various corporate matters including public and private M&A and IPOs and private placements. She then moved onto Allen & Overy in Hong Kong, where she was part of the US team covering Asia ex-Japan and worked on deals from Korea to Taiwan to Malaysia and India.

She joined Merrill Lynch in 2007 covering the Asia ex-Japan investment banking team and also took on the role of General Counsel of Greater China for Bank of America's corporate banking business after the merger. In 2013 Lin joined the Listing Division of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange to work on IPOs and became the head of the IPO Department where she oversaw the expansion of the team from 60 to 80 and streamlined operations to increase productivity.

Prior to joining Tricor, Catharine was the Head of Depository and Nominee Services in HKEX, responsible for overseeing the daily operation and business development of all the depository, IPO and corporate action processes in HKEX. Highlights include implementation of the China Stock Connect, re-engineering key processes in the Central Clearing and Settlement System and leading the discus- sion on the Uncertificated Securities Market (USM) operation model.

Catharine has over 20 years of experience and has held various operations, client relations and business management positions in major international banks. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of New South Wales, Australia, a Master's degree in Applied Finance from Macquarie University in Sydney and is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).

Catharine is currently the Executive Committee Member of the Federation of Share Registrars Limited (FSR) and a member of USM Working Group led by the Joint Working Group, including Securities and Futures Commission, HKEX and FSR.

Judy Wong joined Tricor Group in October of 2018 as Group General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. In this role, she provides both the Group office and the board with effective advice on the firm's legal strategies and spearheads the implementation. She oversees the Group's legal and compliance functions and external legal advisors across 21 markets worldwide. Judy also works closely with the M&A team to provide legal, compliance and strategic advisory to the Group executive team and the board on all M&A transactions.

Prior to Tricor, Judy was with Ernst & Young Greater China General Counsel Office for eight years, holding positions of Legal Counsel, Assistant General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel. As Deputy General Counsel, she was responsible for all corporate, commercial and employment legal matters and personal data privacy issues in the firm's Greater China Region. This region spanned Hong Kong, Mainland China, Macau, Mongolia and Taiwan and employed a staff of 10,000 across four separate areas of professional practice. Prior to Ernst & Young, Judy held in-house legal counsel roles at Asia Television Limited and CITIC Ka Wah Bank Limited and associate at Linklaters and Mayer Brown JSM.

Judy completed her Bachelor of Law degree and her Postgraduate Certificate in Law from the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law. She has been a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Hong Kong since 1993. Judy is proficient in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Michael is a widely experienced lawyer who has practised for more than 25 years. A large part of Michael's legal practice involved corporate and trust structures, assisting clients with asset protection, estate and family succession and tax planning.

Previously, Michael was the Executive Director of a major trust company, providing advice on the structuring, establishment and ongoing administration of onshore and offshore trusts, estate and family succession plans, family office governance, Pre-IPO trusts, Employee Benefit Trusts and Employee Share Option Plans. He has extensive experience with multiple onshore and offshore trust jurisdictions, including Hong Kong, Singapore, BVI, Cayman, Jersey, Guernsey, Labuan, New Zealand and Samoa, as well as different types of trust structures.

Michael holds a New Zealand law degree, is a current Executive Committee member, and was formerly Chairman of the Hong Kong Trustees' Association (“HKTA”). He is Co-chairman of the China Development Sub-Committee of the HKTA jointly with STEP Hong Kong. He is also a member of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council Financial Services Advisory Committee and also on the Hong Kong Monetary Authority’s Process Review Committee.
