Applications for Individual Income Tax (IIT) Subsidy in Shenzhen for overseas talent for tax year 2021 & 2022, are now open from September 1 to 30, 2023!
Following China's Ministry of Finance (MOF)'s recent announcement on August 25, 2023 of extending the Preferential Individual Income Tax Policies (IIT) in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) until December 31, 2027, local governments within the GBA will provide subsidies of up to RMB 5 million in a given tax year to resident "high-end talent" and "in-demand talent" from overseas, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
