1. How do you measure success, what does success mean to you?
I would evaluate success by the degree to which your contribution is being truly recognized and valued. You will feel the trust and respect from the team and stakeholders. Success is not a destination but a journey achieved through effort, failure, learning and transformation.
2. How do you keep employees engaged and motivated?
An organization’s culture and value are the key drivers of enhanced employee engagement and motivation. It’s not just about the corporate values, but more importantly it is how the employees actually “feel” within the organization. That require us to truly walk the talk and strive to consistently demonstrate our core values.
From all of the critical corporate values and culture, I believe “empathy” is the most important one to drive authentic employee engagement. That is, moving beyond our own view and experience of work to see, recognize, and appreciate the work and our organization from another person's perspective. It takes courage to understand someone we don't agree with. It takes gumption to find authentic words that communicate what we believe. This is a fundamental and crucial element in driving sustained collaboration, teamwork and leadership.3. How do you manage work-life balance?
With the convenience of technology nowadays, I define it more as "work-life integration" rather than simply work-life balance. I don’t limit myself with traditional working styles, and keep an open, flexible approach to both my work and personal life. This requires mutual respect and being open. I prefer transparent and honest communication with the team and a commitment to support as urgent priorities as they arise.
