Job Objective:

Looking for a Manager-level expat with extensive experience to lead the engagements and guide the consultants team in Singapore due the expansion into the provision of Regulatory Compliances Services for financial institutions.

 

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of alternative investment client relationships
  • Lead service engagements and provide guidance to consultants (incl. planning, fieldwork, reviewing working files, and reporting)
  • Refining the compliance service delivery methodology and approach
  • Establishing the compliance infrastructure and risk management framework for clients
  • Drafting compliance policies and procedures and other compliance documentation for clients
  • Maintaining as an outsourced compliance officer/advisor to clients
  • Undertake other independent assessments as per the regulatory requirement
  • Develop training programmes and provide client training on topics relating to compliance
  • Develop regulatory updates and marketing materials for clients and business development purpose

 

Job Requirements:

  • With qualification of Bachelor's Degree or above in Business, Accounting, Finance, Law or any other relevant course
  • Holder of professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, CMFAS, CAIA, CIA and/or other related qualification is an advantage
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience in a financial services regulatory compliance role, eg. within a regulator, a regulated firm or a consultancy
  • Experiences relating to the fund management industry will be preferred
  • Detailed understanding of MAS rules and regulations and good understanding of the financial services industry in particular the alternative asset management
  • Good leadership, project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to think objectively and demonstrate sound judgement
  • Strong ethical standards and high level of integrity
  • Flexible thinking and ability to adapt
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Possess logical, analytical and solutions focused skills, high attention to detail
  • Excellent oral communication skills to effectively articulate and present ideas,
  • Excellent written communication skills and meticulous with report writing
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit with both a drive and willingness to be involved in all areas of a growing business
